This is my first blog post you guys and I am so excited!! I thought I would start with our most recent trip to Cabo because I have tequila and guac still fresh on my mind.

First thing's first: We landed on Thursday around 12 and immediately hauled butt to the nearest marg. We stayed at The One and Only Palmilla this trip, after hearing glowing reviews from many friends, and let me tell you, I too, am now drinking the One and Only kool aid. You enter the resort and it is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful scenic entrances, mixing lush greenery and gardens with a beach vibe.

The staff was at your beck and call from the minute you step foot on the resort. We left our luggage and grabbed a quick lunch (ceviche to die for and spicy salsa for days at Breeze) and made our way to the adults only pool. We wasted no time immediately ordering countless coconut margaritas which are easily my favorite frozen drink of all time. Protecting my perfectly bronzed spray tan went out the window when we spotted the swim up bar. Game over.

The next few days we discovered what they refer to as "the kids pool" which in my opinion is the better pool! Although they do not have a swim up bar, the waiters ensure you are never one sip away from an empty drink and they have a delish lunch menu (which we literally ate every day).

Drinks: coconut marg, ginger marg, skinny marg (are you sensing a theme?) tequila tasting (you need to set up with the resort either private or with a group)

*I had some of the most AMAZING tequila that tasted like actual butter. Do I remember the specific names of them? Of course not, that would be the responsible thing to do;)*

Food: Ceviche platter at Agua, Damir LIVED for the cheeseburger quesadilla (homeboy isn't a seafood fan) at Agua, steak/fish tacos were out of this world, all of the sushi from Suviche, and the Dry Aged NY Strip from Seared, can't leave out room service churros (they aren't on the menu but I promise you they are worth every calorie)

We were all set to leave on Monday, but after a relaxing morning by the pool we thought live mas and extended our trip until Friday. We thought we would check out the new Viceroy and it didn't disappoint. I truly felt like I had teleported to South Beach with its sexy and modern flare accompanied by chill house music and cucumber towels upon arrival.

This was also perfect because I had been dying to go to Flora Farms and the Viceroy is literally 10 minutes away. The other resorts we stayed at One&Only and Las Ventanas were about a 30-40 minute car ride so we didn't feel like it was worth it but NOW WAS MY CHANCE!! Oh my gosh you guys this place is absolutely magical. Endless bloggers have posted about it for years and I was so excited to try. Not only were the drinks something unbelievable but the farm-to-table food was out of this world. I will tell you though, we went on a Tuesday night and it was PACKED. You absolutely need reservations unless you want to wait over an hour for a table. The live music was the perfect touch to a beautiful night in the secret garden.

Food: Burrata and the cured meats, any/all of the pizzas, farm fettuccini

The next few nights we ate at the hotel rooftop restaurant which was delicious (and had a DJ, think Sky Bar vibes) and also found a local authentic Steak House, La Vaca Tinta and had the best service ever and our favorite wine (Caymus) on the menu:) Another amazing thing about the Viceroy is at night they light up the columns with different colored lights and it was epic.

We headed back to LA with a new appreciation for tequila and an abundance of chips and guac in our bellies. We are going back for Damir's birthday in the fall and will be checking out The Resort At Pedregal....stay tuned!

Food: Steak Guac, yellowtail ceviche, asian inspired tacos, overnight oats
